Mick Raich has been in healthcare since 1982.  He has worked in two different billing companies and specialized in pathology and lab revenue strategy.  He founded Vachette Pathology in 2002 to help audit pathology and laboratory revenue results and revenue cycle operations. Vachette’ s clients included healthcare systems, community hospitals, hospital outreach laboratories, clinical laboratories, toxicology laboratories, COVID laboratories, anatomic laboratories, and pathology practices. His years in healthcare billing and management have helped him build an intimate understanding of the revenue cycle process, managed care negotiations, Part A / medical director negotiations, and revenue strategy in the pathology and laboratory business. Raich is a nationally recognized speaker on changes in the pathology and laboratory revenue cycle industry and has presented for numerous state societies, universities, and industry tradeshows.
