Bob Newton has enjoyed a 33 year career in sales and business development, working with the latest advancements in the life science industry. Since 2019, he has been with the Clinical NGS Group at Thermo Fisher. Previous to Thermo, he held various commercial roles at Abbott Molecular and Perkin Elmer LAS as well as other organizations.
Bob has a BS in Biology from Marquette and an MBA from UC Davis. He lives in Chicago with his Wife and two Sons, a Senior who will be heading to Columbia University to play football and a Freshman. He feels proud to have been involved in the technical advancement of the lab and how it has impacted patients lives.
