Michael Simpson has been the Chief Executive Officer at Clinisys since January 2018. In 2021, Clinisys absorbed the USA Sunquest business, making Clinisys the largest laboratory informatics company globally.
Mr. Simpson is a seasoned healthcare industry veteran and has more than 36 years of international and domestic experience. Prior to his role at CliniSys, Mr. Simpson was a CEO in Residence at the Amazon incubator “Lab 1492” reporting into Andy Jessy responsible for the creation of the Amazon Healthcare Data Lake and the early work to define Amazon pharmacy. Michael was also the CEO and Founder of Caradigm, a population health company and has worked for the organizations of GE, McKesson, Novell, QuadraMed, Unisys, and Philips.
Mr. Simpson earned his degree from BYU in Engineering and Executive Education from Harvard Business School.
