Mehdi Keddache is an Informatics Specialist at Illumina, focusing on Sample-to-Report workflows in laboratories running Next Generation Sequencing based assays. Prior to joining Illumina in 2015, Mehdi was the director of the DNA sequencing laboratory at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, managing CLIA testing in microbial identification, whole exome sequencing and mutation screening for rare genetic disorders. He received a PhD in bioinformatics from the University of Cincinnati and a Master’s degree in Genetics from Columbia University.
