Mariano de Socarraz is a leader, innovator and entrepreneur in the healthcare industry with more than 40 years of experience. Mr. de Socarraz has served as CEO of CorePlus Servicios Clínicos y Pathologías, L.L.C., since founding the company in 1996. On January 1st, 2020, CorePlus transformed its business model to a digital pathology platform for primary reading of all histology, immunohistochemistry and special stains. In June of the same year, CorePlus operationalized the use of AI algorithm for prostate and breast cancer, becoming the first in the Americas to incorporate AI in daily use. Additionally, Mr. de Socarraz is President and Founder of Syndeo, a healthcare IT company dedicated to developing an AI-enabled digital pathology ecosystem.
