Mr. Sherrin  has been representing clinical laboratories throughout the country as part of his general health law practice for 40 years.  He has been General Counsel to the American Association of Bioanalysts for that entire time.  He is an experienced civil litigator in federal and state courts, administrative proceedings, represents laboratories in federal and state criminal and civil investigations, and regularly advises and represents laboratories in fraud and abuse investigations and compliance matters, CLIA and state enforcement proceedings, payment disputes with Medicare, state Medicaid agencies, managed care organizations, and commercial payors, compliance contracts and structuring business arrangements.  He has taught health care law at the university graduate and law school levels.
