David has retired in October and has resumed work in a part time role at Sonic Healthcare UK as a Process improvement consultant as well as working with the British In Vitro Diagnostic Association as a Scientific and Standards Advisor. David also is involved in the writing of ISO standards, being one of the drafting team for ISO15189:2022 and is the head of delegation for the UK at the international meetings.
