Dr Bethany Williams (MBBS PhD) is the Lead for Training and Education at the National Pathology Imaging Co-Operative (NPIC) based in Leeds, UK. She is the award winning author of numerous publications concerning the pragmatic adoption of digital pathology in clinical setting, patient safety aspects of the technology, validation and training. She sits on the board of directors of the Digital Pathology Association, and on the Royal College of Pathologists Digital Pathology Committee, and has written guidelines and guidance adopted for national and international use in the field.
