Dr. Alok Aggarwal received his Ph. D. from Johns Hopkins University in 1984 and worked at IBM’s Watson Research Center during 1984-2000. Since 1984, he has published 120 research articles and has been granted 8 patents. In April 1998, he “founded” IBM’s India Research Laboratory inside IIT Delhi and grew it to a 30-PhDs-and-30-Masters’ team by October 2000. In December 2000, he “co-founded” Evalueserve, which pioneered the concept of “Knowledge Process Outsourcing”, has 4,500 employees currently, and provides research and analytics services to clients around the world. In February 2014, he founded Scry Analytics (www.scryai.com), which provides innovative AI-based products, solutions and services to enterprises. His recent book titled, “The Fourth Industrial Revolution and 100 Years of AI (1950-2050)” is on Amazon’s best seller list.
