Dr. Russell Amato is Senior Medical Science Liaison at Genomind, a company focused on optimizing the treatment experience for individuals and healthcare providers by unlocking the value of precision medicine through actionable genetic insights. In his role, Dr. Amato is primarily responsible for the product development and improvements to Genomind’s interactive drug-drug-gene interaction software (GenMedPro), performing genetic consultations with providers and educational speaking engagements. Dr. Amato received his PhD in Pharmacology at LSUHSC and completed a postdoctoral fellowship within the Vanderbilt Center for Neuroscience Drug Discovery. He has over a decade of experience developing novel therapeutics for neuropsychiatric diseases.
