Dr. Jason Bush is Executive Vice President, Product at Avalon Healthcare Solutions, where he is responsible for product strategy, design, and management.
Jason has more than 20 years of experience in leadership positions in venture capital-backed healthcare and life sciences companies. He joined Avalon in 2015 as the Senior Vice President of Clinical Operations and business owner for Avalon’s proprietary, best-in-class, flagship software, which automates the application of laboratory policies to health insurance claims. He was promoted to Chief Data Officer leading data analytics, advanced analytics, underwriting, business model analysis, and reporting services. Prior to that, Jason served as Vice President of Operations at AIT Laboratories (now HealthTrackRX), a commercial toxicology and forensic science laboratory, where he was integral in the company’s restructuring. As former Director of Clinical Operations for Precision Therapeutics (now Helomics, a Predictive Oncology Company), Jason led the laboratory through two years of 300 percent growth.
Jason received his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering – Bioengineering from Carnegie Mellon University and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.
