Thomas Seay is Executive Director of AI Catalyst at The Health Management Academy, leading a collaborative of 30+ top U.S. health systems to accelerate AI adoption. With nearly two decades of experience across healthcare, technology, and public policy, he guides healthcare executives through complex technological transformations.
Previously, Thomas spent 10 years at Advisory Board, heading its News Division and serving as Managing Director for AI strategy. He also held senior Congressional roles, including Communications Director for the Congressional Oversight Panel during the 2008 financial crisis.
Thomas holds degrees from Georgia Tech and master’s degrees in creative writing and business administration.
