Dr. Patterson is the Director of Pathology, Laboratory Medicine and Laboratory Outreach for the Butler Health System in Butler, PA. The health system is a major independent hospital system in Western Pennsylvania just north of Pittsbugh. Under Dr. Patterson’s direction, the laboratory has been an early adopter of many new devices, including the first hospital installation of the Beckman DXA5000 automation line.
