Rick was a partner and healthcare practice group Chair with the law firm of McDonald Hopkins, where he practiced for 42 years before retiring in December 2022. His practice largely focused on pathology groups and labs. He then founded GIG Consulting which provides business and strategic planning to laboratories. He also now partners with Advanced Strategic Partners, an M&A advisory firm that focuses solely in the lab space. Rick serves on the advisory boards of a number of healthcare companies, both within and outside of the lab arena.
