Michael Ferrie
President, Laboratory & Pathology
Coronis Health
Fenton, MO
Michael Ferrie has been in RCM for 26 years having founded Physician Data Management, the legacy company for the current Laboratory & Pathology Division of Coronis Health. Michael’s experience runs the gambit of billing and practice management across all forms of the industry — from hospital-based settings and ASCs to independent Pathology labs and large-scale clinical laboratories. Specializing in becoming a natural extension of each client’s operations, Michael has predicated success on being an adjunct “practice manager”, insisting that the Division’s staff think and act like they would if each client’s operation was his or her own. It’s about putting yourself in the seat of each client to maximize results, understanding, and information / data. Good decisions may come from data. Best decisions come from information borne out of expert analysis and the linkages to experience. Michael had the great fortunes of running an independent Pathology lab, working within the walls of a large Quest clinical laboratory, and consulting with the then-3rd larges clinical laboratory in the United States. Those experiences combined with his RCM leadership have moulded the service delivery. of Laboratory & Pathology into the team that is at the right place at the perfect time to deliver the best possible results for clients.
