Dr. Thijs van Holten is a clinical chemist at St. Antonius Hospital, one of the Netherlands’ leading specialized medical centers (ranked in Newsweek’s Top 125 Best Hospitals in the World, 2024). Committed to advancing laboratory medicine and patient care, he oversees organizational policy as well as laboratory and service excellence.
Dr. van Holten has extensive expertise in pre-analytical quality, including phlebotomy. He has been collaborating with Vitestro since the early stages of developing the Aletta™ Autonomous Robotic Phlebotomy Device™ (ARPD™) and is principal investigator of the pivotal A.D.O.P.T. clinical trial, which led to European CE market clearance.
